Описание

Iranian hip hop Inception The first group to release an Iranian hip hop album was the Los Angeles based group Sandy in the early 1990s. The first underground rapper was Deev, who introduced aggressive hip hop to an Iranian audience with his political song "Dasta Bala". This was soon followed by Zedbazi, who introduced Gangster Rap with their song "Mehmooni" (written on top of the 50 Cent anthem "In the Club"). Hich Kas, who wrote about life in Tehran, and Erfan, introduced poetic hip hop to Iranians, with his song "Shosteshoo". Partizan started the underground rap form. Female rappers started to emerge, with Salome known as the first female rapper in Iran and few others like Pani but there has not been a strong female MC to date.
